According to Marvel's May solicits, Astonishing X-Men No 21 will be released then... with a rumour online that No 22 won't see the light of day until July!!!

THey really are S**T when it comes to publishing things on time and I don't understand why they have soooo many issues at the moment?!

Ahh Whedon has said all along that Astonishing would have an erratic schedule.

He has always said it would have to take second place to his other projects - not cos he doesnt see it as important, but because he agreed to do other things first.

Though now he is no longer attached to Wonder Women I think its safe to blame Cassidy!!!! Very Happy

But Whedon has always defended Cassaday in saying that he can meet a monthly schedule; it's Joss Whedon who can't. Apparently.

I guess we'll know more if Runaways keeps to a monthly schedule. If it does, blame the artist. If it doesn't, then write an online petition to Joss Whedon and chain him to a desk until Unstoppable is over! Very Happy

And as it turns out, he's only writing Runaways for six issues...

Still, at least Runaways fans can walk away happy with the knowledge that it'll take about 14 months to ship those... Rolling Eyes
