well here is a little news item i picked online Could Manga Inspire A Murder? and beckons the tired old argument of "well if you don't see it you wont think to do it" one wonders what the hell the Christian Crusaders were reading at the time doesn't it.... oh, that would have been the Bible then

*cough* BULLSHIT *cough*Ahem sorry, I remember you sayin about this the other day, and its almost as cliche as VIDEO GAMES CAUSE VIOLENCE.
Hmmm lets think so every single person in the world who has ever played a violent video game in turn is going to copy what they see and become violent murdering pychopath? BZZZZZT wrong.
Its the same thing with manga plently of people read manga with violent storylines. Yet they dont feel the urge to get massive awe inspiring weapons go down the high street and start a killing spree.
Personally I think its an individuals state of mind that could cause them to commit murder not manga and not video games, and lets face it not movies. Have you heard of anyone dying because some guy decided to call himself Jigsaw after watching saw and creating various deadly traps that they only have the slimmest chance to escape from?
Did'nt think so.
Hmm and if reading manga is a hazard that could turn me into a killer then I had better go and burn my collection right now.
