midnight 5/5
turn left 5/5
the stolen earth/journeys end 5/5
all in all a solid season although one or two storys where not as strong, but dr who has always been like this due to the nature of the show the first 50% of the season set up donna real well, afterall this was very much donna's story with the last 50% being awesome, all great storys there. and the more i think about journeys end the more i think it works. after all the donna was indeed the dr's moral compass.and davros as always was awesome.

I must admit, I'm not a great fan of Davros. In almost every story in which he's appeared, the Daleks turn on him. How rubbish is that - to be imprisoned by his own creations?
Although he was apparently held captive in this story, he still seemed to be ordering the Daleks about.
He's had a few cool moments, but overall I wasn't fussed about the return of the character. |

I think Midnight was probably the best episode of the season. |

Some comments by Julie Gardner (the executive producer)about the transmission dates of the 2009 specials.
| Quote: | | Aside from Series Five, which will have a full 13 episodes and transmit in 2010, we are making four one-hour specials. The first, which we've already filmed, will go out this Christmas. The next will go out the following Easter. The other specials have yet to be scheduled, although one will definitely be on at Christmas 2009." |
I'd hazard a guess that the other special would be shown in August to spread the episodes out over the year evenly. |

I found pretty much all the episodes fairly boring. Although thats not to say I didnt like them. Turn left was pretty good.
Overall though meh and Catherine Tate as Donna did my head in. _________________
