Well in an interview about The Initiative this week Dan Slott was asked if (won't say character's name as it's a bit of a spoiler) was a skurll and he replied, "No, he's not the skrull."

In Illuminati #2 (I think) as the Illuminati escape the skrulls they say something about getting their revenge on Earth. I'm at work at the minute so I can't check the exact wording, but people are taking that as a precursor comment to the invasion plan. _________________
