Every post i go onto seems to have at least one person talking about skrull. I know i'm included on that, so i have created this to get it out of the way.
I ask you all who you think the skrull is (luke cage baby not included) and a shiney penny will be awarded by me to the winner/s!
My guess is the women from stamford who tony stark kept meeting with, i can't remember her name.
See I'm wondering if Spider-Woman is too obvious now.... they seem to want to keep this out of our reach for a while, it might be someone who doesn't feature all that often in the main series. _________________ Pro Massacre Boy!
I don't think spider women as she apologized to logan and didn't try to kill them to cover it up, they were all down, would have been the right decision if she was skrull. _________________ Ninjarific
In New Avengers 30, Doctor Strange casts a spell on all of the New Avengers following Hawkeye's arrival. Essentially, the spell is designed to assess the purity of heart of all those assembled. With the exception of two, each character simply bathes within the spell; some smiling, some non-plussed.
Luke Cage's baby laughed throughout with Strange dismissing the reaction as the purity of a child.
Spider-Woman appeared aghast, attempted to cover her face and, after, appeared to react as if she were choking while the other characters remained generally unfazed. Why would Spider-Woman react so... and none of the others...? And then we have the next question... why didn't Strange notice...? How can the Skrull bypass his magic...?
As for other characters, I sincerely hope Reed Richards is a Skrull - the change of status quo within the FF is sorely needed. Even with Civil War, the book looks like it's going nowhere (come October, Black Panther & Storm are off the team with Reed & Sue restored). This is a change that could date all the way back to the end of the Kree/Skrull war (as seen in Illuminati) where the Skrull possibly took the identity of one of Marvel's secret cabal.
That... and perhaps Janet Van Dyne. She seems to be leading a completely separate life to Hank Pym (and without explanation) and even appears to have found a new love (Avengers: Initiative 2 suggests this).
The more likely options though are Namor (somebody from The Illuminati has to be a Skrull) and D-Man! _________________ With Great Power, Comes Great... Potential to ROB BANKS!!! HAHAH! THAT'S HOW TO BEAT THE RECESSION!!!
i still don't think Spider-Woman is a Skrull even after reading the reasons why Major Spoilers think she is (I'm guessing you read the same thing Boy Wonder?). _________________ Pro Massacre Boy!
Spider womens reaction is probably to do with her involvment with hydra. unless that ended, i missed a chunk. re reading front line i think its impossible for tony stark to be skrull after his hissy fit in the last few pages. _________________ Ninjarific
