I'd agree with Reaper and I don't think there's any harm in leaving it, unless it's taking up bandwidth that you'd like to save.

I agree with Reaper and Web of Fear.

Give it another three months though. If no activity by then (and I very much doubt there will be, but you never know), I suggest you remove it.

one point i might bring up is as the forum grows, and maybe in time becomes a force to be reckoned with, we may get to a point where event organizers want to post their events here, just a thought.

I am more concerned at the moment that it "looks" unused.

Maybe someone would like to take responibility for finding event and posting them in the thread....

Any offers?

Well, you can count me out on that one for obvious reasons. If I'm struggling to find the time to even read comics at the moment, I'll never find the time to actually source upcoming events.

Thinking about this, if we were to post details about an event, we would likely cover it in the News section anyway with an article appearing on the front page.

That would suggest then we could easily cover the section as part of the News one; if, at a later date, we find ourselves promoting events here, there and everywhere, I'm sure it would deserve its own section but, until that time, it looks unused and uninviting.

Taking that thought a step further, we may as fold the section into the News one for now. Why have a section to the site that no one is currently using or is likely to use in the foreseeable future?
