Its good so far, very different to most of the other stuff I've read. Very different style and so far not much in the way of action or fighting, just back story. Nearing the end of the history of Captain Manhattan.

Finished reading the Rorschach issue today, probably the best so far, definitely the most interesting and will probably give me another reason to read through this again at some point.

More of the cast is being revealed since last week and today Ozymandias is the most recent addition. So far we have Adrian Veidt playing as Ozymandias, Jackie Earle Haley as Rorschach, Billy Crudup as Dr. Manhattan, Patrick Wilson as Nite Owl, and Malin Ackerman (Will find the picture I saw) as Silk Spectre.

Back to the Watchmen, its a product of its time, a pinnacle in graphic story telling, if you could only ever read one graphic novel in your life then this is it. if you have never read a graphic novel and had to read one before you die then this is it, and i really don't see how a film will be able to improve on it, so best leave it alone i think.

Realistically you're probably right, I personally don't think they'll do a bad job of it but it won't be as good as the Graphic Novel. Friend of mine thinks it will be awful

With regards to Batmanuels point, I agree that they are unlikly to be able to improve it, but if they can do a half decent job, like 300 or Sin City, neither of which improved the original, but did get people buying the oringinal book then its a job well done.

If it acheives that, then bring it on!
