£60 on something better than Aerosmith?..... Not fecking likely seeing as they tend to do eight years between gigs over here. You're mad I say!. It's not just Aerosmith its a festival day and I didn't think the tickets were that expensive anyway. On Ska, its inoffensive but a bit like dance music for the rock world. _________________ Pro Massacre Boy!
My... everything hurts.
2 tone suits, while looking and being awsome, are a tad much to wear at such an active concert.
The gig was bloody great. The Plan were ok, starting off. Nice guys when I talked to them afterwise. The 7 Day Conspirsy got every going. And then Fandangle were bloody brilliant. But dancing that much. Ow. I ... there are no words. Lungs, feet, legs, arms. Body. Ow.
They remembered me, which was great, and I saw that the lead singer has a very simmilar tattoo to mine on his leg, which I pointed out and he thought was cool. Very good way to spend £5.
Also, meet a very pretty girl there. Must get number. _________________ Let There Be Lightning

I'm thinking 6 albums from artists that don't have their best years behind them or a day ticket to a festival where more than one of the acts has already been announced. But that said, I spent 115 quid on a pair of Dirty Pretty Things tickets last year so I can understand wanting to spend a lot to see a personal favorite.
And how can Ska be considered the anything of the rock world? It's got it's roots far more in regge than in rock. There's certainly nothing wrong with Dance music either. The vast majority of the most interesting music coming out of the UK over the last few years has been from dance artists. _________________ Blog archive 2006
Dance doesn't do much for me though I'd probably agree that its more interesting than the rest of the music being produced. I mainly linked Ska with Rock for its involvement of electric guitars and some rock stylings (weak link I know). Plus i don't think 'the dance of the reggae world' would have made sense.
