After recent concerns expressed in the Forum Traffic thread (or, more rather, the lack thereof), I think it's time we held a roll call.

If you're here, whether as a regular poster, a lapsed one, or merely a lurker (and you know who you are), it's time to announce your presence, return or arrival. In one sentence, tell us something about yourself (funny would be great); after all, whatever you write will probably prompt a reply... and then another reply... and then more will reply... with more replies...

So... I'lll begin (I don't know if this is a good idea or a stinker, but what the hell):
