I've seen Condemned going quite cheaply on whatever and a few other sites so might check that out. The problem is that playing a FPS will piss me off with a control pad.

It hurts saying this but you would probably get more out of a 360. I love my ps3 to peices and little big planet is one of the best things i have ever played but for you sir i suggest the 360.
I'm enjoying fable 2 (now gears of war 2) but from what i have heard fallout 3 is a better game so go with that, the graphics are better too and there is nothing quite like getting a brand new computer and being blown away. Fable just wont do that.
