Who is RONIN?If you've been living under a rock for the last several months, you won't know that Captain America is dead. Yet his Avengers live on in New Avengers and, if memory serves me correctly, we should find out this month In NA 30 who is now wearing the Ronin costume.
So, who is he? No, waitasec, who is she? Oh, feck, I'm confused now.

I voted for Bucky, not for any real reason, I have no idea who it would be really. Clint Barton seems unlikely, he doesn't seem the martial artsy type. Daredevil would be a stupid idea seeing all the stuff thats been happening in his own series. Steve Rogers would be too soon and thus the impact i'm assuming they'll want will be gone.

I'm going with Jessica Jones.
It deosn't seem that important that Ronin needs to be a martial artist; if anything, it's more important that whoever is Ronin has a basic understanding of self-defense and can work with and as part of a team.
The interaction between Luke Cage and Ronin in NA 27 gave me this clue (not gotten any further yet) and, lest we forget, the whole purpose of the Ronin suit is for a woman to disguise themselves as a man (CapO made this point to me some months ago and I agreed with that).
So, there we go. Now, only time, and Bendis, can prove me wrong.

I'd love it if it were Moon Knight. I've never read any of his books but the concept and costume alone (plus the fact that he's on my Ultimate Alliance team) make him one of my favs.
Bendis seems well into Cage so I think Jessica could be a good pick, but I thought she'd already been shown in the same scene as Ronin (could be well off though I've only read the first ish). Wouldn't that make them obscenely bad parents though if they just left their kid in Canada and went undercover to fight ninjas? Although it would mean that Omega Flight could turn into a superpowered 3 men and a baby comic starring Sassy, US Agent and Beta Ray Bill.

It's a Vauxhall Corsa... and I would hope that in the next 20 months, I'dve bought something slightly more interesting...
My main ambition is a DB9... but that'll never happen, so maybe the Focus instead.
Of course, if by that time you still want the Corsa, be warned: After having lived in it for the last few months before it following my fall from grace from all the blackmail stacked up against me, it will stink of fart, BO, and have ...certain stains... on the car seats.

I'm looking to trade my Corsa in at some point. Watched too much Life on Mars and now I really want a Ford Capri.

Well - dragging you lot back on topic.
Sharon Carter.
Shes a good enough fighter to stand back to back with Captain America.
She has killed, so won't mind using a sword.
She no longer has a "master" of any kind (remember - a Ronin was originally a samuri with no master) as Caps dead, Fury is off the grid and didn't prevent her from killing Cap and shes not going to go to Iron man now is she?
The Ronin suit was designed for a women to wear.
By hiding her id behind a mask it makes it harder for the Red Skull to find her and trigger any other little mind bombs he has planted.

Anybody else disappointed that it is Clint Barton and just wished that he had stayed dead? Still the end was a bit of a surprise, or would have been had they not shown it on the fecking cover .....
