Whatever Comics Awards 2008: Best Artist - The PollsFirstly, I’d like to thank everyone who nominated their choices for the Whatever Comics Best Artist Award 2008.
You will see we now have a mammoth Top 9 from who you can select your vote as 2008’s Best Artist. If your own personal favourite hasn’t appeared on the final list, I can only apologise; however, please feel free to vote who you think was 2008’s best from the list above.
Yes, I said, a Top 9. It seems everyone chose their very own personal favourite artist from 2008 for this award. Seven of those named below all enjoyed equal points and an equal position in their nominations (1st). Only two emerged as front-runners for the award. As I couldn't start removing names to create a Top 5 (and I didn't want to run the poll with only a Top 2), I've made the unprecedented step in putting forward all nine artists.
The polls will close in ten days time. The winner, of course, will be the one with the highest number of votes; however, if there is a tie, then I will simply select who, between the two (or perhaps more), enjoyed the highest number of points from the nominations. If that figure was equal, then it will fall to whoever enjoyed the highest ranked placing.
