Bad idea.
Personally, I would like Venom to be the focus of Spider-Man 4. We could then enjoy the re-emergence of Venom, start focussing on the somewhat interesting relationship Venom and Spider-Man enjoy (especially with Spidey's spider-sense not reacting to Venom's presence) and, maybe, even maybe, run a sub-plot featuring a crazed serial killer... who is ultimately revealed as Carnage. Somehow, though, I get the sneaking feeling that's where the movie would come undone... |

How closely do the films follow the history of the comics?
Do you think the "re-set" from OMD will have any effect on future films? |

the films follow the comics about as closely as batman and robin. The charcters were there just not the plot.
Thats a bit harsh, they tried and got it wrong. But with sam raimi say he will only produce the next film not direct it, it could open the way for a real fan to direct. Also no comfirmation on the original actors coming back. |
