Methinks my favorite thing was Clarkson in, was when he Guest Hosted "Never Mind The Buzzcocks". Halfway through Juptis' and Bailey's banter, he sits back, sparks up a fag, and puts his feet up, throwing away the quiz notes.

I saw it. I loved Lemar's reaction to May saying that 'most people would turn left here but I think if we turn right...' speech and then calling Captain Slow a 'jerk'.
As for Billie Piper, she's becoming a complete dog ever since she left Doctor Who, isn't she...? It's just such a big shame that the series has to end already...

Ah... at last, something for me to watch
This really is the best Motoring show, ever. fifth gear? na... its shit, ans tiff needell should play with the traffic on the M1,and Viki Butler should either... 1: take up making Porn Movies. (i would buy a film with VB on an exhaust, wow, BIG BORE, look at her go) 2: take up being photographed for Porn books. 3: appears on Top Gear as a (NUDE) star in a reasonably priced car. 4: do a cookery program for men, (in the nude) which explains different ways to reheat beans, prepare a cup of soup, and super noodles. and all the while using a stove (and Microwave) which is placed on the floor, so some nice upshots then, yes!!!!
and even than, you wont get more viewers than Top Gear

for a second then, i think he thought "oh bugger, its not like the chariots on film is it" No Jeramey, you looked like you were acually going to come a cropper. only time i have seen him so worried is when he was running away from American rednecks with guns
Oh and i read in a motoring mag the other week that he an Piers Morgan really dont like each other ( apparently the Editor of a fleet street rag one Piers Morgan wrote something in his paper about Clarkson having it off with someone other than his wife) so when they next met, Clarkson belted him, as in punched him in the mouth,
now i dont condone violence in any shape or form, but when it comes to the gutter press, well all is fair, and i make an exception to the rule

Hammond and May to leave Top Gear?Found this while surfing, can it be true:Richard Hammond and James May's futures at Top Gear are in doubt because of an argument over salaries. Their contracts run out at the end of the month, but they have not yet signed a new one leading to fears they may leave the show. The report in the MediaGuardian revealed that the two stars were unhappy that their salaries weren't more in line with that of the shows main host, Jeremy Clarkson. Clarkson has apparently negotiated a pay rise which includes profit share of Top Gear rights around the world. A source told the Guardian: "Internally there is talk that there might be a chance for the first time that there could be a break up of the team, it has got that bad. "There has been a lot of pulling out of hair, a Mexican stand-off. For the first time it is possible that one or both might leave. They don't want to accept second status anymore. There has been a meltdown in negotiations." Personally i dont think that there should be a pay difference between these three, Top Gears success i feel is a combination of all ingredients. Three blokes doing stupid shit things which involve cars (sometimes) and the true success of the show is the sheer enjoyment they show while doing it. Its like giving a Roller to a Bash Street Kid and telling him to go go karting in it
Still it was a great show while it lasted, and its not over till the fat lady sings. but imagine, life with only Fifth Gear...Brr, scary. |

Any fears of life without Top Gear are now completely behind us as the new series has been announced
And although the Gordon s of the world want us all to use Diesel cars which are not as Green as one would think, i myself am doing my bit for the Greenies, and have just placed an order for the 17.2 lite W32, 512 variable valve 1000 bhp Muscle car. this two door saloon has all the available space taken up by the engine which eats fuel at am alarming global warming level of Chernobyl and offers 32 fpg (that's feet per gallon) and do i care... NO!!! why? Because its bright f**king orange that's why, oh and it looks cool too, and it goes very fast, so F&$k you

I think it's absolutely ridiculous.
If you're easily offended by Jeremy Clarkson, then the answer is quite simple. Don't tune in to Top Gear. The other thing I find amazing is how this made the news at all considering the low number of complaints compared to the 7 million who watched it. Oh... and on GMTV when they were discussing the complaints, they provided three cases of serial-killing and murdering lorry drivers. Point proven, then!

Boris Johnson is such a Dick, he was quite funny though.
As for Top Gear not being up to its usual standard, i think Clarkson hinted at it in the part where he said "it seems that i have come to the bit where i cant say what i mean to say" I had noted a sudden drop in entertainment value on top gear since the Ross and Brand thing, BBC it would seem are cleaning up the shows with the threat of having your genitals Fed to Clarkson's V8 Blender. I would like to feed Gorden to Mr Clarkson Blender while saying, Say hello to my BIG gas guzzling friend

I think it has got a bit more blokey in recent weeks. All that stuff yesterday about wizard's sleeves and pork swords was more suited to Nuts TV than Top Gear!

I thought that last week's episode was good, with the Boris Johnson segment, as well as the Fiesta and the Communistical cars. This week's not so such.
I do think that this season as been a bit more hit and miss, and a particular low was the Mark Whalberg interview (including a movie clip). Obviously, a few guests due to see Jonathan Ross have been moved to Top Gear. |

Yeah, the interviews haven't been great.
Boris Johnson is great entertainment value because he is Boris Johnson. I used to really enjoy watching him when he was chairing Have I Got News For You? Tom Jones and Mark Wahlberg both looked uncomfortable, especially Wahlberg, who really was only there to plug a film few would have any interest in. Otherwise, the best interview this season by far was with Will Young: 'You look really fit... Oh, that's come out all wrong, hasn't it?' Interesting segment on the new Honda though. Could this car represent the future of driving...? |

Ah, Top Gear is back, this weeks episode which was broad casted after the 9 0'clock watershed seemed to be back on form and actually had me laughing very loudly, and welcome back things you can do with an obsolete V8 engine.
the apology to the Morris Marina owners club was as good if not better than the apology to truckers, as in unrelenting, one of the highlights for me was the David and Goliath touring car coverage, the Top Gear Awards were hilarious, and the constant banter between the three musketeers, Captain Slow chats up a bird, "hello" and Clarkson chats up a young "fit" man, oh and that little bloke, whats his name? you know, the one with the hair
oh, and what about the hydrogen fuel cell car, sure as hell beats chopping down the rain forests to produce palm oil for bio fuel, and plugging your electric car into the mains to charge it with electricity produced by either coal or nuclear stuff? neither of which are not at all very green but stand to make a few individuals very very very rich. |

There's not as much money in saving the planet as there is in killing it (and I'm not even that much of an environmentalist - I do it because it saves me money). I loved May chatting up a girl. I'd skimmed that when it was first broadcast; seeing it again now in a new light was staggeringly funny. Bring on the Vietnam road trip! |

Went to watch Top Gear getting filmed. I was in the audience in the episode when Clarkson raced May and Hammond in Japan on the Bullet Train. You can see me on the TV, it was dead cool. Now I know why there is no children allowed, very adult humour in between takes. An excellant day out, well worth the 3 year waiting list.

This weeks Focus RS... oh i so want that car...pant...pant. and the pretty little blond they allowed to drive the car in a reasonably priced girl... oh hang on, i may have got that wrong
anyway i watched an episode of fifth gear the other day. i love cars but had all but given up on fifth gear as it seemed to be losing its identity, that and the irritating Vikki Butler is even more irritating than Tiff the nerd needel, (and i don't care if i may have spelt his name wrong) Where in the past 5th has given us some interesting head on collisions filmed in real time, and shown the everyday danger of being side swiped by a lorry. the difference between avoiding an obstacle at speed with electronic stability controls switched on, and then with it switched off used to be entertaining and educational. the latest episode of 5th gear that i watch had Tiff and the other prick (i cant even remember the name, he made that much of an impression) running around a field racing TANKS!!! yes fucking TANKS, and behaving like naughty little boys to boot. Shit, if i want to watch this kind of entertainment being done well i will watch Top Gear, still i had nothing else to do at the time as i was taking a well earned rest for saving the world as.... woops, nearly got me, ho-hum, i didn't say a word
