THOR!!!!!It would appear that Marvel Studios have decided upon the director for the upcoming Thor project. Matthew Vaughn is his name and if you don't already know he was scheduled to direct X3 after Bryan Singer went wandering off.

The film is looking to go into production during this winter, in the hope they can get it started before the guild strikes commence.

well apparently, there have been if you ideas of who could play thor. Marvel want triple H. of the wrestling fame to play him where as the director is dead against the idea, another potential candidate is Kevin mckidd who was in Rome. Hopefully Marvel won`t get their way has triple H. is a terrible actor

and you know what,
as hard as i can think, i cannot for the life of me come up with a single actor who could fill those mighty shoes.
Perhaps they should just leave it alone and do something else.
Like maybe a Silver Surfer solo movie, and do away with the actor completely

Problem is bar the rock [and only just baring him] wrestlers cant act. Although you might need a wrester to look like thor, im with bats, just leave the film be. But then again my opinion on Marvel films is slow the hell down and pay attention.

I went through this with a friend when i heard rumors of a avengers movie. One of the guys from 300 would probably do. also try and cast Cap america, and the famous gambit question. Bit hard trying to find someone who looks like someone else. Try looking for some one that looks like You to play you and people will always disagree....if you see what i mean.

Apparently Matthew Vaughn wants to shoot this in the UK but due to the stupidness in America over the writers strike, the film might not shoot until late next year?!
