Terminator 4 and OnwardsIts been announced that they're looking to do a whole new Terminator trilogy that will be set in the war between SKYnet and the human resistance.
The first 'Terminator Salvation : The Future Begins' is currently being written by the writers of T3 (is that really a good idea?) and is set for a release next year. No director has been decided just yet so you'll have to watch this space for that one.
And currently Arnie hasn't signed on but its been said there will be a part for him if he wants it.

just to add vin diesel is set to play the title role, it would seem that i was the only person who likes T3 and thinks script writeing duties givein to ferris and barncato is a good idea.

I didn't mind T3 as such, but it didn't need to be done the way it was and I think there are better writing teams out there. I didn't add the Vin Diesel bit in because it isn't confirmed, still listed as a maybe.

Yep, that's right. It's me!!! 
Seriously, I liked T3 but it wasn't a patch on the previous two. I felt it had an excellent conclusion with the T-800 'saving' the couple by moving them to an underground bunker while the world was reduced to slag. I really liked the idea that the end of the world as envisaged in The Terminator movies was inevitable.
But that really should have been that. End of.

Tv will be sketchy. T3 really annoyed me because it said that the future war was inevitable..... Excuse me did you not watch the last two films you dozy gimp of a writer?! One of the key points was *drum roll* No Fate But What We Make! Where in that does have the work inevitable?! NO!! Bad writer and Director!

Christian Bale has now been confirmed in the lead role of John Conner. Sadly in case you don't know McG is going to direct the film..... which w**ker at the studio thought that would be a good idea?! Have they not seen Charlies Angels?!

McG isnt all that bad, have you been watching Chuck, its really good.
I just don't think they shoud be rushing into this film so quickly, they let them get into the culture before, but then again it is going to be 6 years between so it should be okay.
Why are you asking who is goin to be the terminator, isnt it plainly obvious???
