Although it's got a platform element, it's more or less a balls out fighting game. The last one was brilliant, and I still play the GC version on the Wii.

you do realise roy probably won't be in this one, like final fantasy fire emblem changes characters every game so ike is the new fire emblem character. Lucky your not a grown man then, cos you gonna cry like a little girl who lost her barbie.

Obviously, but seeing as Marth and Roy had clone movesets, much like Mario & Luigi (and Dr Mario), and Picachu and Pichu, and Captain Falcon and Gannondorf, Fox and Falco, Link and Young Link.

Ike is Marth and Roys replacement, I'm banking on him having their moves. Well, he's already got Roy's Firebomb Sword, or whatever it was called.

Hopefully, they will skim off the Clone Characters, or give the desperatly different ones different moves, like making Gannondorf more unique.

I'm thinking that out of all the new characters so far, Pit is looking the most interesting.

(And you're going to beg for mercy. "Please Greg, don't Arm Cannon me again! My frail Elf body can't take it any more!")

If you look at the move set that they have posted on the website ike looks very diffrent, all power with charge up with little in the way of quick moves, he seems a pro character. I agree Pit does look interesting but i wanna see metalla knight. Oh and baggsy solid snake the only other one i really need.

I have a feeling that the last secret character is gonna be a mii. Set up move set but your mii appears. They kinda hinted towards it when smash bro's was announced.

If snake can take down a giant walking mech, a tank, several thousand soilders and still have time to smoke and make wish cracks he should be able to own an anorexic contortionist in a suit.

Oh and hopefully by release date i'll have my own place so we can do this round mine in HD baby. I have 2 wii remote and 2 gamecube controllers so everyone is covered but if you have a remote or controller bring it and you can garantee your controller of choice.

All I know is, they should have had Megaman as playable from SSB.

Yes yes you are. Megaman is a capcom licence so he's not gonna be there, if you were gonna get something from capcom you'd blattently get Dante, he'd own link up.

Sorry Xeall, but we both know that the only way to seperate me from my Power Suit is to be on the reciving end of a engery blast that would comparitivly make a Chidori look like a tooth pick, or make a Super Rasengan look like a wet burp.
And I'm thinking that the old geazer Snake just wouldn't survive that.

you never played metal gear acid did you, after defeating the giant mech which makes samus enemies look like a holiday, snake realises all exits are blocked so he emptys a missile and launches himself out of the nuclear missle launcer on the mech breaking most bones in his body only to then swim to the nearest land and have a fag! Power shots are what he brushes his teeth with!

thats definatly an american date aswell as we only have one release date a week and ours is the 7th of march. The americans have two and thats one of them. So we will have to wait longer, anyone remember waiting for twilight princess on the cube? I waited 2 years for that for it to come out only to have to wait for the wii. Welcome to my world. Oh and the less said about mario sunshines delays the better.

Why everyone thinks nintendo is so great is beyond me, this happens everytime and the fans always act shocked. Once Smash bro's, mario kart and possibly a Star fox are out there are gonna be no games left and the machine will die a slow death of one off spectacular titles, like i dunno the cube or n64. *sigh*
