Personally I would like to see anyone of my ideas turned in to a story!!! Very Happy

Failing that, a Spider-man story titiled "Back In Black" where Spidey returns to wearing his black costume after suffering sever emotinal trauma, making him much more serious and violent - scaring his foes so badly that many run away rather than face him and inflicting sever beatings on anyone stupid enough to get in his way could be a really cool story if it was well written and not just used as a cash in to a movie or something.... Rolling Eyes

Or a story from DC where everything is shaken up in such a way that the universe is unreconisable to anything before!!! Maybe where they create a character called Ion who becomed the most powerful person in the DCU, replacing Superman at the top of the food chain - and is then not ignored and mishandled so badly most people don't even know who he is.

Or best of all a story where readers get to vote on whether or not to kill Dan Dildo and have him beaten to death by a man in a clown costume weilding a crowbar before being blown up for good measure!

Yeah, I'd vote against Dan Didio...

Anyhow, I'd really like to see a Spider-Man story where Electro is restored as the true A-list villain he should be. Same applies for Doctor Octopus and Hobgoblin. Why not properly re-do The Scorpion and Sandman too, while we're at it...? Let's kill off Eddie Brock once and for all.

And yes, an X-Men story where Wolverine doesn't feature. A good story too; one that persuades the fans that Wolverine is over-rated.

I don't think cutting out Wolverine is entirely necessary, maybe limit his use a bit. Seems I'm in a minority though as I still like Wolvie Razz

I really wish I could remember the storyline I thought of...... fecking memory.

a story i would like to see would be robin hood may be done by vertigo, done well, by that i mean a violent,dark and at least 80% true to the medievil tales, there is so much that could be played with that tale, so much subtext to be enjoyed. on the same tip a cool comic telling of walter scotts ivanhoe.

Spider-man story where mary jane was killed by green goblin on the bridge instead and he's still with gwen and the diffrence that would have had on his future.

Or where uncle ben killed the man who killed him in self defence and went to jail, what would peter do?

X-men if the brother hood of mutants never existed, would they have achieved their goal?

I think there could be some really interesting X-men stories faced aginst Apocalypse or Magneto, I just missed the 90s, so whenever ive read magneto he's been a goodie, and whenever ive read Apocalypse its been far too short lived.

My problem with the Wolvie thing is that it always seems that he does more than he should need to, let someone else do the hard work, let wolvie beat on the minions.

I really enjoy alternate reality Stories, like when good guys go bad and vice versa. Hense my love for Exiles.

I had a really good idea for a Superman story not too long ago. They could do alot with him on a psycological basis,messing with his head like. I am enjoying the speradic Camelot Falls tho, so that kinda does the job for me.

Long shot, that magneto good guy thing and apocolpise thingy yeah....called the age of apocolipse and is avalible at your friendly neighbour hood comic shop. 4 volumes at £20 each that rival the size of the yellow pages! i know cos i just bought and read them all in record time!!!

Does it actually make propper sense, cause from what I can tell they kept on adding stuff after it had 'finished' and I wondered if it got a bit convoluted.

I wouldn't worry about the 'add-ons' to Age of Apocalypse.

In the late 90's, they released a couple of one-shots that only really attempted to cash in on the series' remaining popularity. I didn't read the 10 year anniversary mini last year but I very much doubt it could possibly live up to the standard of the original story and very likely adds nothing to its forebear.

Otherwise, I can't recommend AoA enough. I really liked the idea of Magneto leading the X-Men and then doing everything possible to recreate the world Bishop spoke of (even though there was no proof that the world he came from was the true one) just so that Apocalypse wouldn't rule.

Boy wonders right but i'm gonna take that as him agreeing with me as i was here first. AoA is well worth a read, feels jumpy in the Tb's but that is because it aranged the issues in chronological order and suddenly your somewhere else and you have to remember whats going on then!

I read somewhere that you should skip the first one and read it last as it kinda ruins the story.

One thing I do really want to read from that is the Blink mini, is it any good???

I hate blink so i'm not going to answer that. The first one is essential i don't know why it would be seen as ruining it.

I'd go with Planetary #27, more Transmet, more decent Authority, someone going back in time to Un-Kill and restore Bart Allen, possibly as far back as returning him to his former Impulse glory days, and letting him age as a normal person would, but with all his crazy-ness, and I'd be shocked if he didn't end up something like me.
