Stark raving SpanishI was having a gum flapping session with Batmanuel (make of that what you will) the other day and we got on to the subject of the Iron man film, I said that I thought using R.D.Jr to play a drunken spanish lush was a bit weak, now, Batmanuel knows his poopie when it comes to Iron man and he says that Tony Stark is no bloody way a spaniard but im sure I was reading a (fairly) recent comic where it really came across as him being at least of spanish descent? Am I making things up? Prove me right! please? |

There is nothing at all on the Marvel page about Iron Man to suggest that he is of Spaniard descent.

But seriously folks i have been reading comics for a bloody long, i have read most if not all the Tales of Suspense issues, and Iron Man from about 1-300 i think i might have noticed if he was a Dago salami eating dictator. Alcoholic yes, Tin pot Dictator yes, Salami garlic breath Dago, i don't think so. and with a name like Manuel doubly so there isn't any Spaniards on the Forum is there?

What he actually wrote was 'good bye and your mother are a dove.' Still the effect is the same |

Even if his mother was a salami basher, Tony Stark would take his Nationality from both the country he was born in and his Father 
and like i said in the 400 or so comics i have read there is nothing to suggest that Tony Stark is anything other than American, scumbag yes, salami basher...i don't think so
