Spider-Man 4From what I've read they will be doing a fourth Spidey film but they still aren't sure who with or when exactly.
Sam Raimi recently spoke out that he would like to do another one if he can find a story he wants to shoot and that he would also like to bring back Dunst and Maguire.
He mentioned about villains and the names Electro, Vulture and the Sinister Six popped up and once again he mentioned The Lizard.
Though seeing as the Sinister Six would require six different threads on who they are and Spidey 3 was bloated with two of them, maaaaybe Raimi should take heed and avoid that idea like the plague hey.

I'd be very surprised if the whole team came back for number four.
I don't think any of them will actually will - although I reckon there's a slight chance that Raimi will do one more, but with different actors.

Like Waffle, I'd be surprised if they all came back for the fourth Spidey movie.
I think Sam Raimi will stay with the franchise, albeit in the role of Executive Producer rather than Director. I also can't see either Tobey Maguire or Kirsten Dunst returning either; well, certainly not Dunst at least.
As for story, I kinda hope they return to Venom and follow through with a thread on Carnage. Sure, they could do The Lizard or Electro and I hope they steer clear of anything possibly involving The Sinister Six, but I just think they could do still do a Venom movie and give the character ample screen time to explore his 'unique relationship' with Spidey. Introduce Carnage half-way through and I think you could have quite an interesting film with Spidey forced to team up with his newfound hated enemy.

Raimi is now officially quoted as saying there will be another SM movie but he will neither write or direct it. While a new writer and director are being sought, Raimi has said he will produce while allowing a new writer produce their view of where Parker will go now.
They need a five star director, more news as it comes

on a serious point, i'd work more upon a loss spiderman has. they completely skipped the death of both stacys, he needs something to build him as a character rather than whinning and small inconviences.
If they did the venom story well then i'm all for that, however i feel they have fluffed that already, i would have loved to see carnage..... 
I would maybe do the return of the green goblin after harrys death.

spiderman 3 was ok at best and i think a 4th would end up somthing a bit like superman 4 the quest for peace. everything that folks have said of the topic of spiderman 4 is right.at the end of the day can they leave it at 3?
