Speed ReviewingLike speed dating but with comics, see anything you fancy sir...
Some little blinders i read last week are
Echo #1
By Terry Moore
I was looking forward to this, and i am not disappointed, it nothing like Strangers in Paradise (a book i have continued to promote since day one)
I like the fact that its not, as i wouldn't have thought that TM was a one trick pony, its nicely drawn, nicely written, and dare i say it, its an origin issue, an origin issue in an almost traditional sense.
9.0 /10
Necropolis #2
Jamie DeLano
See Catfangs review of issue one for an insight to the mechanics of this book, all I'm saying is that issue two was so much better than the first issue, even the dialogue seemed to flow more freely, i am now looking forward to issue three.
8.5/10
Young Liers #1
David Lapham
High octane, rock n roll entertainment in this roller coaster ride thats like a bullet in the head. Great stuff. a good first issue which if it keeps up the pace, could develop into a corker.
8.0/10
Oh and the latest Fantastic Four, you know the second Mark Miller issue, straight for the jugular, any fears that this would not be a good book are now well and truly banished. Man this second issue rocked

Not too sure what to make of FF. The whole plan of the scientists for a utopia on new earth is patently not going to be a good idea, and the Johnny Storm fight, then make out, scene is ridiculously clichéd. Not too keen to the Ultimate universe look for the regular Marvel U. Still it's Millar, so I'll hang in for a while.
