Sorry old bean - I've been away for a while.
Well, I thought it was pretty crap, and agree with most of your review. However, unlike you, I thought the writing was poor and the art was substandard. I can see why you'd think that the wrong sort of person would pick it up. Although it's not actually right-wing in terms of tone, the cover and some of the panels (particularly the Skrewdriver-esque concert) would definitely get some of the BNP brethren all aroused. It's an interesting story, and one that could be told very well by someone else (or in another medium. I can see Brit film version of it), but these guys just don't have what it takes. |
