Just to say - Bats, yet again you were spot on with recommending this. It is a beautiful piece of work.
Now, Strangers in Paradise is one thing, but I defy ANYONE to read this and not cry. I knew it would be sad before I even opened it, so that is not a spoiler!

Glad you enjoyed it, i am trying to get Debe to read it.
It didn't make me cry (as if i would admit it if it did) but i did come away feeling very silent after reading it, if that makes any sense.
I felt that it really had a very powerful message, and reminded in many ways of Maus, not that it was anything like Maus, because it wasn't, it just reminded me of it.
It really is a beautiful piece of work, both art and script.
You should try SIP, read the collected three issue Mini series, it stands well on its own, is inexpensive, and if you don't want to, you need not read anymore.
