Pirates 3Finally got round to seeing this yesterday.
I really enjoyed it. Like all the Pirates movies, this was pure, unadulterated fun from start to finish. The special effects and action sequences were jaw-droppingly amazing with all the actors looking like they're enjoying themselves.
I know there's been some criticism toward the movie (just as there has been against every other threequel so far: Spider-Man 3, Shrek The Third) for its running time and twisty-turny plots but I can honestly say I didn't notice how long it was - I was enjoying myself way too much.
As for the plot, Pirates was simply tying up the various plot strands and loose ends and did so admirably. Were the film any shorter, I'm sure those same critics would be condemning the film for being too short and not seeing the various plot strands to a decent conclusion.
The only thing that did my head in were the multiple Jack Sparrows; as cool as it was to see that in Davy Jones' locker, there was no need to carry it on beyond that. It was distracting and threatened to take me out of the movie (not literally).
Anyone else seen it...?

I'm going to do a review of this but have been waiting for the movie site to be finished, just having issues doing the damned site!

Technical issues...?
Solve them with a beer or two; the solution always appears far simpler then... although you might not have a site left afterward!

Not technical issues, more design issues, I'm picky about websites and have a crap eye for design so it takes me a while.
Beer would be a good idea if I liked it

Ok I rephrase i don't like any beer that is served in the UK. I tried a beer in Budapest that was fantastic and actually tasted nice. Beer served in the UK never tastes nice

I saw it, and thought it was great! No problem with it at all.
And as for the Run Time, I'm glad it was so long! Means I'm getting my moneys worth!
