Is that the online one? That crept up bloody quick! I thought it was a 2008 release. All the stuff I've read looks pretty promising, but as with all MMOs I'll researve judgement until it's live.

No I think that the MMO one is on the PC only. this is one where you actually play as Conan. It could be very cool, but I dont have a console to play it on.

i played the 1st Conan Game on the PS2 and it was, well Conan, the only thing that irritated me was the stupid attempt to put platforming style bits in it, Conan slice Conan Dice as well as steal and stealth , it was a OK game but flawed.

well i played it last night, the graphics are lush, the story is quite good, although more marvel then howard with that said, the game plan is very much like the ps2/camecube game and it does have rubbish platform bits, but at least it does not have stealth elements like the first game. oh and the voice talent is very good. all in all very playable but its not going to change the world.

mediodcre like most next gen games at the mo, even the really hyped games are coming out dissapointing. Next big hope is the Half-life 2 Orange box, come on team fortress 2. Assasins creed next month too, big hopes for that one

Has anyone played this on the PS3 yet?
Saw several previews - but actual "reviews" as such.
We're tempted by it every time we go into Game, but £50 is a lot for a game that might be another "also ran".
Was reading an article about the concept art and that looks great - but I've been tricked that way before.
The other question is whether it can compete with God of War 2 which is just the "mightiest" feeling game ever.

it really doesn't compete with GOW2. And i think Devil may cry is better for the i just owned you factor. DMC4 is gonna ruin every game like that ever.
Or for people who can import the ps2 version of Berserk. Cut a guy in half catch his guts in your face and chew on them while you own up his mates! Now thats a game and if you know Berserk the manga you will cry with joy.
Ps3 version is meant to be same as 360 so just above average.
