NANANANANANANANA....BatmanYes folks you heard right the 1966 TV series is now being repeated on BBC 4, same time, same channel, miss this estavagansa at your peril...holy shit Batman, you do have some anti shark repellent don't you, of course Robin its here in my handy utility belt, but when we get back to the mansion you will need to wash your mouth out with soap and water.

It is amazing isnt it. Im loving the campness and the awefullness of their characters [were just going... um... fishing]. I swear it should be 'same bat time, same bat channel'. Love it.
Cant wait for the episode this season with Green Hornet and Kato [Kato being a pre Big Boss Bruce Lee]. I hope it goes threw all three seasons and hurry up and release them on DvD.

F**K Me, I've just watch this weeks double bill (friday night 11.35) of the batman 1966 Batman tv show, i have not laughed as much and as hard in a long time, brilliant in its stupidity

Have you all seen "Return to the Bat Cave - The Misadventrues of Adman and Burt"?
Set in the present it starts with the Batmobile is stolen from a car museum where Adam West and Burt Ward (playing themselves) are attending a charity event.
adam decides that they must track down the thief and return the Batmobile- it not being clear how much he really is Batman, and how much he is just a very confused man having difficultly telling his memories of real life from the characters he played.
During the search, they flashback to fake "making of" segments. Also has cameos from Lee Merriwether, Frank Gorshin and Julie Newmar as fiction and reality become ever more blurred.
Extremely funny.

The DVD of the movie is well worth getting for the comentary by West/Ward.
