My Best PanelI think that I may have just done my best panel ever so I thought I would share it with all my new friends here.
This takes place within a flashback / hallucination so that is why the side of his helmet has "bug egg sac fingers" on it instead of the usual "piping". It's the latest episode of Extinction Protocol which just went up yesterday in Signs and Portents. If you want to see the full episode (including my first go at Calvin and Hobbes style cartooning (!) in a sci-fi comic) and an article by Cy about how Extinction Protocol lead to him getting the Markosia Bad Blood deal it can be found in issue 51 on the Mongoose Publishing site. I can imagine, then i imagine that you had to imagine someones face melting then convert that to paper...........you need help, cos that is disturbingly good! I mean it looks just like the time i pour ac.........nothing...........

I thought I would show you another one I am very happy with.
This is a brain bug (if you've seen the Starship Troopers film you'll recognise him), from Extinction Protocol 19 (which I am currently drawing). It is just the bug so far, he will be sitting on a cave floor when the the panel is finished. Drawing his carapace caused my RSI to come on really badly, but he has such a cute little face I can't help but love him!

did it involve lots of death and when you were down to 4 men make the killing of bugs really easy? Gotta love that film. Still suggest Earth or global defence force to anyone wanting a starship troopers rip off game.

Now you have hurt his feelings. He only wanted to eat your brains and gain your knowledge. Now I have had to draw him being killed and I felt really sorry for him.
Cool. What happened? Perhaps it is a message from beyond that you should buy Cy's new book 
I had a great dream the other night about having to hunt down an evil man who could turn into a 20ft tall bear. That was pretty cool in itself, but the best thing was that I had a kind of brass steam punk sniper rifle with all levers and switches to do it with. Perhaps we should have a "cool dreams" thread. Or actually maybe not on consideration...we will only end up with Jessica Alba bursting out of a Pot Noodle! |
