MerlinI was talking with Norsefire1 about the upcoming Merlin show from the BBC this autumn at the weekend and thought I would post a link for those interested.
I was interested when I first heard about it. Now I am alternately enraged and depressed.
This could have been something great but why take a chance on that when you can just make the same thing over again in different costumes?
Dark Age Harry Potter, anyone? Smallville in ancient Britain?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ive just read the BBC article about the show, it sounds like a bloody mess. ive not read a cast so miscast since superman returns. although in all honesty, why i am i surprised, robin hood was a pile of S***. maybe the BBC should be haveing a new motto, "the BBC killing off Britons myth"
at least john hurt will be in it.

there is a trailer for this on you tube now, i see they have gone for something more akin to romance and not takeing merlin back to his roots, as for the trailer i was not what one could call sold on it.

Given the dog's dinner that is Robin Hood, I wasn't holding out much hope for this.
