Karate Kid RemakeI heard a short while back they were thinking of remaking Karate Kid and my initial impression was 'No no no no no no no!'. So it's not the greatest film in the world but it's good fun and one of those films that won't be bettered by being remade.
Anyway its been confirmed that Stephen Chow of Kung Fu Hustle director fame is in talks to direct the remake. He himself has said it may not happen as he has a busy schedule so far but he's a better candidate than most I guess.

Maybe one of those NSPCC style black and white ads should be made....

All of Stephen Chow's films have been cool though - esp Shaolin Soccer
