Iron Man 2Thought that Iron Man 2 discussion could be kicked off with the first image from the movie.
Not quite the hall of armour, but doubtless a nod.

I loved the first movie (perhaps more than The Dark Knight, in the long run), so I'm incredibly excited about the potential of this movie.
I hope they bring back the Bill Murray-esque wit from the first film. For me, that's what really set the film apart from all the other recent films. You never see that sort of humour in films anymore.
PS: There needs to be an Ultimate Iron Man suit in that collection. I love the retrofuturistic design of it.

I really can't wait.
Iron Man was a superb movie, offering a wonderful blend of strong acting, excellent characterisaton, a solid script, good direction, excellent effects and a dedication to offering a true representation of the comic book.
And this was meant to be the difficult origin movie.
Typically, in comic book movies, the second film surpasses the first and this is usually due to the fact that a second film is freed from the burden of telling an origin story. The first hour handles the origin, with the story beginning in a compressed second hour. Here, they won't suffer from that compression.
Take a look at the better second films:
X-Men 2
Spider-Man 2
Fantastic Four 4 (2)
The Dark Knight (sorry Bats)
It just makes you want to dribble at the though of such outstanding quality.

I wonder what the plot of the second movie will be?
Tony becomes head of shield, allows and aids an alien invasion, gets the sack and all his goodies stolen by an arch villain.
He then the hides behind women in some bizarre hope that given some tech they will be able to fight his fight for him.....
Nah.
That could never happen, could it
Damm you evil twin, if you want to post get you own space.
it wasn't me wonder boy, honest

Looking forwards to the sooo much, Loved Iron Man More than Dark Knight for sure, I just hope this can live up to the first one.
I guess it all depends on what story they choose, can I don't know enought to say who it should be sadly.

Given that just about all of the original cast and crew have returned, I think this sequel has a very strong possibility of being very good. It may even been like X2 to X-Men 1

It was various bits of footage from Iron Man 2 shown at SDCC, including Nick Fury talking to Stark (while dressed in the armour at a donut shop), Stark giving evidence at a Senate hearing (and causing an uproar). Mickey Rourke's character, Black Widow kicking butt and War Machine in action.
I'm sure it'll resurface somewhere else.

The Iron Man 2 film looks like its going to really kick ass, what a contrast to the comic version and when ever has a film version been better than the comic version, incredible.
The films version of Stark is just so cheeky privatise world peace indeed, and unlike the comic version he stands up against the government who wants his property rather than just do as he is told, fantastic.
Stark expo! awesome, and Pepper... i really love this version of Pepper the way she kisses the mask in the trailer, such a tease,
Oh and War Machine, oh and Black Widow, brilliant, this film looks like its going to rock BIG time, could this be the best Marvel film ever? we will have to wait and see but i am really looking forward to this one!
