Ever walked out of a film?

Title says it all really. Ever walked out of the cinema? If so, what film did you walk out on and why.

Personally, having paid my money I want to stay, and in the interests of being able to express a fair opinion I like to see the whole thing.

That's not to say that I haven't been sorely tempted on a few occasions though ...
The Rascal King

Same here. I paid a small fortune, I'm going to get my worth out of it.
Reaper

I have been tempted three times, I've stayed all three.

The Hours - Got in for free but we stayed because something worthwhile HAD to happen.... It didn't
X-Men 3 - Only stayed because it had to get better.... it didn't
Eragon - Stayed because Sarah thought it had to get better.... it really didn't
The Rascal King

Only one I was really tempted to up and quit was The Hulk.
Reaper

See I didn't mind the Hulk, till the ending anyway. Marvel does seem to have problems producing a decent ending for the first film a series. Except Spider-Man
Robin The Boy Wonder

No... I've lasted all my films somehow.

Which is a small bloody miracle considering some of the films I've been dragged to see... Very Happy

...

OK... four people have posted so far... but we have five votes!!!

So, who left the cinema before the end...? Couldn't have been CapO - he'd havta finish the popcorn first and, after finishing, he'd be too full up to leave the seat!!! *

I'm guessing Batmanuel...

*With apologies to CapO. I fear the retribution you will undoubtedly seek. Very Happy
Web of Fear

Erm, the "yes" vote was me. Somehow I managed to vote incorrectly on my own poll. I'll give myself one of these, just to save anyone else the bother.

Probably a good example of why democracy really isn't a good system of government...
The Rascal King

Hah! Classic. Well done.
Reaper

Finally someone else understands the role dictator ship has in the world
Web of Fear

.... but it is the best of all the alternatives.

Where else can you get a discussion about systems of government in a thread about leaving films, than at Whatever Comics?
Reaper

Of course if I'm in charge then that is the best alternative by far
The Rascal King

It just shows our compleate inability to focus on more than one subject for any preiod of time.
Reaper

Wow cool sky
Web of Fear

Who are you guys again?
The Rascal King

Why am I naked?
Reaper

Argh my eyes MY EYES
The Rascal King

Was that too much? I never know. Razz

?
Reaper

Don't worry I'll get you back..... now where is that pic of CapO and Robin the Boy Wonder 'exploring'
The Rascal King

Reaper

Don't call Web of Fear stupid, that's really harsh man, come on be nice

Photos of The Boy Wonder and I exploring, Reaper?

They dont count as real photos when you cut our heads off other pictures and paste them on to images in you "special collection".

They may be real to you but not the rest of us. Sorry to ruin your fantasy life! Though I do find it sweet (read as really, really worrying!) that you have named your favorite vibrating toy Sarah....

Oh and Webby.

Casting the wrong vot on your own poll is even funnier when you stop and think about the fact you could have editied the poll So "no" Became "yeas" and vis versa then you would have voted in the right place!
Web of Fear

"What now?"

waffle

bit late now - but I just voted no.

come close though - Miami Vice was the most recent. No it wasn't - it was The Holiday. damn - had almost banished that from my mind forever!

I don't pay for the cinema though, so I feel bad if I walk out. Also, there is always the very, very tiny chance that something awesome might happen.
Robin The Boy Wonder

The last time I saw something awesome happen at the cinema...

...was when I saw Batman Begins.

Before the movie started, a couple of uber-hot girls decided they wanted to move from the row they were on (two rows down) to the row where me and a mate were sat. As they moved in front of us, and while we were both sat down, they decided to do it facing forwards... with their tight, pert bums in our faces...

I just wanted to reach and bite it! It was like a peach... so wholesome... so... so... mmMMmm...
The Rascal King

And thats why you haven't been allowed back in the cinema since Batman Begins.
Robin The Boy Wonder

LOL! Laughing

And now you know why I'm taken to see such ...bile... like Epic Movie! No hot chicks in that screen!
Batmanuel

it was a long while ago, we went to see Carrie on a rerun, it was supporting a film called prostitute, me and the wife stuck it out for about 10 Min's and left and went to the pub, mind you that was about 5 Min's longer than most of the audience, somehow you dont feel so bad when everyone else if leavening.
and it was astonishingly bad.
Guest

I voted No.
If i have paid for it, then i will watch it, no matter what Sad mind you Titanic was pushing it ,) glad i didn't pay to see it Smile glad ive never seen it, i closed my eyes all the way though it Exclamation
kingmouse

Yeah. I don't think you can fully judge a movie unless you've had a full showing. Besides if you want to really be able to slate it then you have to have endured the whole thing. I tend to be the same with DVD movies too...though Napolian Dinomite was pushing it (I get it, he's a retard with a perm. Got any other jokes?)

Avengers was about the worst thing I've ever seen on the big screen though, that was dire.
Reaper

Wasn't as bad as Eragon Razz Trust me :S
Xeall

I've never walked on a film, like others because it cost me good money. i am intreged as to how so many of you see these things for free! You do realise a downloaded film does not count as a cinema. Smile

I nearly walked on casino royale...but only cos the sound was lost half way through for 5 minutes. Glad i stayed.

Nearly walked on batman and robin....but i was young and afriad of the people looking at me as i left. soooooo many horrible horrible lines.

I agree with waffle on miami vice, i watched about 10 minutes on sky and suddenly realised my brain was trying to leave out of my ear.
Robin The Boy Wonder

You should keep your eyes open for the Kate Winslet nude scene.

Longshot

I walked out of some teen ish movie years ago, i came back, but i left 3 times, i just couldnt stand it.

Side note, you know i rember reading somewhere that those werent Kate Winslettes breasts, just CGI or some shizzz, she refused to do it apparently.
Robin The Boy Wonder

But... but... but... they were so perfect, so round...

Sad

Sorry old bean, but you've misattributed that quote. LIBEL!
Reaper

I would firmly confirm that they were Kate Winsletts because I've seen her breasts in various things Wink Breast identification is a skill my friends!

Web of Fear

Zombix

Reaper

Again you must have missed eragon
Robin The Boy Wonder

We all missed Eragon!

Alas, not all of us were so fortunate... Razz
