dont cancel meWhy are some of the best series cancelled before they get a chance to get going such as the biggest mistake american gothic which stared off with such a good season and if in the states they had shown it in order should have been so big also space above and beyond dark angel and firefly although we did get serenity which i loved |

Cancelling Firefly was a huge mistake. That series had such a huge amount of potential. As shown in Serenity.
But I would have rather had the TV show tbh. Enjoyed American Gothic as well... |

There was a show called "Brimstone" which got cancelled fairly quickly. It was about an ex policeman who went to hell. A number of souls escaped from hell (I guess someone just left a door open or something), and the central character (who I think was called Jebediah Stone - a true film name) agreed with the devil to track them down in return for a release from hell.
Escaped souls were sent back to hell by having their eyes poked out (the eyes are the window to the soul), and the central character had the names of all the escapees tattood on him. Whenever he sent someone back, a tattoo dissappeared. They guy who is Lionel Luther in Smallville played the Devil. I'm not making this up. Honest. |

A Warning: be very carefull when ordering TV stuff from across seas, and whatever you do do not order from dvdavenue, thier stuff is low grade rewrite stuff in bad packageing which has inferiour quaility to pirate Vhs tapes, i shoud know ive been burnt. |

I got my copy from either Dvdpacific or dvdsoon. Check www.playusa.com and www.cdwow.co.uk as well.
I was quite enjoying threshold last year but they binned it after 13 episodes. American gothic was great, 97/98 was a good time for shows. Darkskies, Space above and beyond. All three crashed because they're probably too thought based for the American populace, much like Angel series 4 scared people away. |

John doe was another good series and it ended on such a big shock also i loved the pretender i have the first 3 seasons on r1 dvd only about Ģ18 each on playusa.com and of course the very short lived lonegun men which pilot episode has never shown on uk tv as it was about planes crashing into the twin towers | ||||

You can pick up multi region players pretty cheaply. Actually what is your current Dvd Player, reply with the make and model. | ||||

All DVD Players are multi region put the name make and model into a search engine and you should find the hack in a very short time, trust me its easy. |

Ok. in that case can anyone find the hack for Pioneeer XV-DV313?
Cos all I can find is sites telling me that Pioneers can't be hacked. This could be the only post I ever make where I really, really, really hope to be proved wrong!!! Oh and on behalf of our legal department... I would like this information purly to test the accuraccy of Batmanuels last statement. I have absolutly no desire to in any way "hack" my dvd player. !

Thats the whole point.
I have looked. And looked. I'm hoping that I have just done it badly and its out there. We have had this conversation before - in Maidstone and you told me that i was just doing it wrong, cos all dvd players can be hacked etc, etc. Well I am hoping you will be proved right. If not, as you got all irrate when I told you aparently Pioneer dvd players don't follow that rule and shouted at me for about 1/2 hour (I hear you all gasp in disbelief!!! ) you owe me an apology!!!!

I did not shout at you for half an hour, more like 30 seconds, i cannot help it if you have brouht the only DVD player in the world, no the universe, wait... the cosmos, which you say cant be hacked, maybe you are just being thick, because everyone i know can hack theirs, infact if you buy a multi region DVD player from richersound, one of the leading electical goods seller in the U.K. they infact sell you a region 2 player with the hack written on a piece of paper, its illegal for them to actually sell you a multi region player in the U.K and thats how they get round the law.
And thats a fact, i know this for sure. i wont go into why i know this but suffice to say im a retailer and retailers talk to each other. so get on that internet and search, every DVD player has a technicians screen, it has to for possable repairs. it really is that simple, i am not makeing this up, i know 
I do not... and when you find the hack or someone finds it for you, you can buy me a pint, Feck the apology, ill have a Pint. Apology... as if.

It took me about 30 seconds to find this, if it dont help spend a half hour looking.
Switch to normal TV, through an aerial (you do not need one connected), by pressing a channel on your remote - say channel 2. Note that this does not work if you put it in standby from an input source, you must switch it to TV - even if you donīt have an aerial connected - and then put it in standby for this to work. Whatever you do do not use dvdsoon. They started out as one of the best but got taken over by another company.They stopped replying to emails when I asked for a refund on undelivered orders,in the end I had my credit card do a chargeback. |

i get all my r1 discs from playusa.com never had any problems the only thing i do not get from them are box sets as you get caught on the import tax so i go to www.loaded247.com the man who runs it used to run west street video in faversham and i got my r1 lazerdiscs from him then i got lost season 2 there no tax and i am about to order series 5 of alias there only Ģ24.99 | ||||
