First let me say thanks for finding the time to reply to this post, no one else did. However having said that....
Well, you could not be more wrong, (how did you become a journalist) as for the man on man action, are you trying to say something in a sort of roundabout not quite admitting it kind of way?

and scousers, what f**king scousers
This very British drama, filmed in Maidstone no less (spot the scouser) is by far the best TV show i have seen since cracker.
Its insane, just a quick run-though, a family moves to Meadow lands estate, turns out that they are on a witness protection scheme,
events quickly turn from mundane to bloody hell what is going on, turns out that everyone in the estate is on the witness protection scheme in one way of the other, and when i say the other i mean the other, all is not what it first appears to be, and as the story progresses you find yourself often surprised and flummoxed as to what you have just witnessed.
This is a must watch programe, to those of you who have missed the 1st four episodes try to find them on the internet.
you wont be sorry.
