I was going to mention this!
I was sitting there watching it, thinking "that thing looks like the Westgate... IT IS IT IS THE WEST GATE!"
And you were on it?
I bloody knew I couldn't be more than one person removed from knowing someone on there.
WHEN WAS THIS?! WHY DID I NOT MEED DARA O'BRIAIN!?

did they use the footage with the books? i had to pick them out for the production company... and lend them the stands. For I am goodly and wise, and didn't even get to meet Dara o'whatsisface.
They were going to shoot in Waterstone's, but then changed their mind at the last minute and filmed in dotcafe and... the county, i think. unless they changed their minds again after they left.
...and who says nothing ever happens in canterbury?

Yeah they used a load of the stands and stuff for a few mins of dot cafe footage. Didn't end up using much of the Canterbury footage in the end because it was only a half hour show, but it was still a right laugh.

I am amazed that people take it sooooo seriously.

Yeah, there are some scary people there. Not quite as bad as CapO once he gets full tilt into why the Marvel space setting is the best thing ever, but pretty geeky nonetheless.

When Dara was talking about carrying your weapons round Canterbury, I had some great visuals. Wandering down the High Street, scaring the hell out of some forigeners, and then going for a drink in the Hob.
Becuase lets face it, the Hob is the only place that'd fit in.
