Clash of the Titans RemakeHollywood is preparing to remake The Clash of the Titans, the 1981 fantasy romp that featured the appropriately fantastic casting equation of Laurence Olivier and Harry Hamlin. Steve Norrington, whose previous credits worryingly include The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, is set to begin shooting some time next year.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I know that by all standards the original really was rubbish, and if anyone did that sort of thing with mythology now I would be all testy - but it was the first film I can remember seeing and loving - and it had a flying horse!!!
This was VERY important to a 6 year old girl.
My childhood struggles against its bonds, strains it swollen eyes against the darkness...
But at least it has Xeall's childhood to keep it company, sobbing together and listening for the footsteps on the stairs

Apparently they are taking out the Flying Horse in the remake as it discriminates against non flying horses....

GASH. Stop with the bloody Re-makes!
Does ANYONE in Hollywood have an OUNCE of creativty left? Or do they squander their meager ideas and embarrasing talents on adding useless crap to the already fantastic comics that they rape and pillage every other week?

Got a brilliant Art of Ray Harryhausen book for Christmas.
I will look at that and pretend I have heard nothing of any remake
