Any 360 owner who enjoys RPG should quickly run to the nearest game shop and purchase a copy of Blue Dragon.

I picked this up with Bioshock, played Bioshock through and then turned to this to keep me entertained until Stranglehold is released.

Imagine my suprise to find out that this game is one of the most enjoyable RPG's i've played outside of the Final Fantasy series.

Made by the 2 big names of squaresoft (Hironobu Sakaguchi and Nobuo Uematsu), but not made by Square-enix, Blue Dragon is drawn by Akira Toriyama of Dragon Ball fame.

Involving, beautiful and well thought out were just a few words i had for this game within the first 2 hours of play! Everything you do seems to have its own charm. When you get a new move you can't wait to see what its like. No video or trailer did this game justice for its look.

The story line and cut scenes are fantastically done ingame to really make you feel you never left control. Close up panels of character appear when talking to others or chosing an enemy to attack.

Best of all the game offers you the choice between the original japanese diologue (awesome) and the English dub (NOOOO). So for those who prefer the game the way it was made without crappy translation mistakes the option is there, i only hope more games do this.

finally the first real enemy you fight is called a poo snake, yes a poo snake. Intrigued? Go Buy.

Goddamn it people this game really is getting better the longer you play, a rare occurance these days. Go buy!

Oh and if you want to make an investment go buy valkyrie profile 2 on ps2, the first one was little known until it re-release on psp. before that the original on ps1 was selling for £300. I see a repeat of this happening and if not it is an awesome game.

Longshot

I played like 2 battles of this in a shop in Gloucester, it seemed really cool, and quite interactive in battle, but I dont have a 360 so wont be getting it sadly.
