Battlestar season 3Being a big fan of the old series i was not looking forward to the remake of this classic series but i think it is getting better and better as it goes on.
Tonights episodes were the best bit of tv (apart from lost ) i have seen in quite some time just hope it carries on

I actually prefer the character in the modern version, shes a little more interesting especially as you get into the later episodes. If you want to borrow the first season let me know, it's worth going through it.

I was the same when i watched the pilot 4 this new series starbuck a women never and i never really got into it .
Watching the second series by the time the episode scar came around i think if they had a man playing starbuck it would have not worked.
I do not know the actress name but she is the best character in battlestar.

Yeah, I was the same to begin with - Starbuck a woman,no chrome Cylons appart from dodgy cgi ones,jerky camera moves in battle scenes etc.
But when the pilot was shown again I ended up watching it again and really got into it.
The writing is better than the original,fleshing out the characters more,though Baltar is a bit of a pain.The whole Cylons finding God is interesting.
And season 3 gets darker delving into colaborating with the enemy and suicide bombings - something the original would never touch.
Well worth a second try,poke in the eye or not

I'm currently watching the Pilot mini series now, just got it for £5  Trying to convince my bank balance that I can afford to buy series 2.

I got season 2 from cdwow for £16 - dunno if they have any left though.

Yeah they will do it's the New Zealand region 2, 4 and 5 copies. I've got the first series in that form. Again it's the thing of £16 can I afford it :'(

I thought the ending was pretty good, not what I was expecting on all counts of the story. Highlight to read!
The four new Cylons, didn't see those choices particularly Tigh. Though the way they revealed them was fantastic, using the triblised version of Watchtower, very clever.
And the return of STAR BUCK! Interesting, and Katee Sackoff has confirmed that she will be filming for the fourth season.
Now i'm interested in who that last Cylon is, Adama or Rosilyn anyone?

I thought this season kinda lost it's way after they left the planet with many of the main characters just not being likeable.The 2 part finale though did bring things back on track.
In answer to the hidden part :
got 1 of 'em,hated the vocals of Watchtower - though the music itself was very atmospheric,and the obvious guess is Starbuck

2 were a total surprise and the last one was really a newish character so just flew under the radar.
