Battle Stadium D.O.N (Reviewage)
The box ^^
Ever wondered what it would be like to smash Tony Tony Chopper (the somewhat annoying reindeer) from Sensei Eiichiro Oda's manga One Piece with Sensei Masashi Kishimoto's character Kakashi Hatake in the face with the Chidori?
Naruto and Chopper cop a face full of Luffys fist, as Goku watches and laughs.
Well wonder no longer this game Battle Stadium D.O.N (the DON stands for Dragonball, One Piece, Naruto) lets you do just that. (providing you unlock the characters of course).
Rather like Super smash brothers this game pits characters against each other in a variety of stages from each of the respective manga to battle it out for supremacy.
The way you beat your opponant can differ though, either by taking all your enemies red orbs (lhealth) and reaching a state called burst (this increases your strengh and the rate at which your special bar fills up. OR pounding them so hard they dont know whats hit them.
Thats gonna sting in the morning.^^
Filled with 20 characters for you to play as and unlock.
Characters and levels are unlocked by completing missions on single player (though as the game is in Japanese you probly wont be able to read it, therefore when missons do occur try a variety of things to complete it). Missions can be either bronze, silver or gold and succesfull completion of the missions will result in coins. The number you recive will depend on what mission you completed.
Bronze- 15
Silver- 30
Gold- 60
If you manage to defeat the end boss and you have achived coins you will be taken to a slot machine after the credits. This is where you can spend those hard earned monies to try and unlock new stuff.
There is also a time attack and survial mode pitting you against the computer.
A very good gamecube title though very slightly glitchy in places. You'd have to order it from Japan though as it was never released in this country... Oh and the addition of a freeloader is nessary to play the game.
Battle it out with you favorite characters against you friends and earn gloating rights for yourself.
Enjoy

Ahh, I've seen Xeall playing it downstairs, and it looks cool. At the time, I'd only really seen DBZ, so wasn't really intersted in the other characters. But now I really want to give it a go.
Too bad I don't have a 'Cube.
