Are You Smarter Than a 10 Year OldI think the TV section is just for comics related TV so I posting a tiny rant here.
Has anyone seen this show?
Where do they find the contestants?
Example from yesterday:
Q: What did Rumplestiltskin spin into gold
A: Errr...was it potatoes...?
I know that I shouldn't watch it as it will give them viewing figures and only encourage them to make more - but I have a kind of horrid fascination with it.
Another couple of examples:
Q: What is 4 squared?
A: I think it might be 16. No, I'm not sure I'll have to copy the 10 year old's answer.
Q: What is the compound word in this sentence "the dragonfly sat on the pond"?
A: Is it "sat"? I think it might be "sat".
Part of me thinks it must have some hidden sinister purpose....

I've seen it before, you do watch it was a kind of morbid curiosity don't you? Like watching a car crash.
Anyway, the game is loaded, they don't ask the 10 year old any questions, do they? Nooo, its easy for them.

That was my plan...but I went in the lounge and it was on.
Best to avoid it as it provokes rage.
