anyone help?ok what i'm looking for is;
a science fiction esk (not too sci fi .. no aliens, no space etc)
survival in post apocalyptic world (not horror but still dark)
with no super heroes, and preferably no obvious villains..

the first person to mention 2000AD will get an angry face.. as good as 2000AD is i havent enjoyed the very stylistic artwork in it.. regardless of artist it seems they pick them on the similarity's to each other.. this obviously doesnt apply to every story in it but.. mmm >_> and besides Dread counds as an anti-hero...

you can not go wrong with idws version of i am legend or if you have not read it which i hope you have cos everyone should mr moore's v for vendetta.

Y the Last Man (Vertigo, Brian K Vaugn, #59, 1 issue from finishing, but still very worth a pick up) and The Walking Dead (Image, Robert Kirkman, #43, ongoing).
Y is about, well, the last man left alive on Earth after a Gendercide Plauge. The Walking Dead is a very good Zombie book.

Just a bit of a "me too" on all of those.
Actually I have spent yesterday and today reading Walking Dead f for the first time right from the beginning. It's great 
I am legend - yes best read that before the horrible looking film comes out.

ye i read the first trans met and as it was i found it a bit clunky to pick up but when it got going.. damn...
