No one has really said much about this so for better or worse,

In the Right Corner we have,

In the Left Corner we have Obama, who has just signed an ad campaign for Oreos, you know, white on the inside and black on the outside.
i get a horrible feeling when i think about the implication of American politics.
and although i really want the democrats back in power, i cant help thinking that Obama has been reading the secret diarys of Tony Blair (Blue on the inside, but red on the outside)
I agree that its gotta be better than the gun tooting red neck geriatric with a arm up an aging pagent queen.
But personally i hope the republicans win.

See, now this is the type of response we need, good old Xeall, i actually voted Obama too not because i really believe in him, not because he is a Black man, or even because he is a white man, its just that fucking Saddam would be a better choice than Bush at the moment, and McCain for that matter, so that sort of puts Obama about a zillion miles more preferable, i mean its not rocket science is it.
So if its not rocket science, then why on earth did the American people vote Bush back in last time, i just don't under stand.
If nothing else, they definitely deserve McCain.

After watching the final presidential debate between the two I would definitely go for Obama. Main for the reason that he seemed to have a good idea of what needs to be done. He had an economic policy that might actually help the Americans get out of the shit storm they're in, while at the same time he was being realistic and saying that it would probably take 10 years to get out of their deficit. McCain on the other hand thought he could do it in four........... Righto old man.
Both of the campaigns have fallen into the 'Lets throw some slander at the other person' routine but McCain has definitely done it more. Realistically there is one crucial point to consider.... Colin Powell who was a big part of the Bush Administration and a close friend of McCain's, has turned around and said he wouldn't vote for the Republicans and sided with Obama.

Almost predictably, Obama won with a landslide victory.
I think it's a good move for America and possibly for the world; however, I reserve final judgment until after he's decided to nuke Iraq and start all over.
One thing I find interesting are the states who voted for McCain. Deep South states and some in Northern America (Wyoming, Oregon by the looks of it) seemed to show their support for McCain in their droves. All of which doesn't surprise me considering how they view blacks and so forth (remember that episode of Top Gear when they drove through Alabama and stopped at a petrol station with those slogans on their cars?).
I find it quite disappointing that no one has voted for Skrulls.
On another note, I was talking to Bats the other week and he told me about his Oreo comment. I've repeated that to a number of people who found it quite funny.
