Akira: live actionThis one was announced many years back however no new news was forth coming until now.
For those that don't know an american studio has the rights to make Akira the well known japanese Manga title and just as well known feature film into a live action movie. The main concern was that it being made in america and more than likely going to miss the point (just as the orginal film did for those that haven't read the manga), the second problem was casting.
The Second problem has reared its ugly head in the form of Leonado De Caprio as Kanada (the main character). Apart from Kanada being around 16 and dark haired, oh and JAPANESE what the f*** are they thinking???
