I quite enjoyed Avatar's Black Summer, I'm pondering their No Hero project and this one caught my eye too.
I also quite like Christos Gage as a writer. I was first introduced to his work on a very minor Marvel project some years ago. He seems to me a very able storyteller.
I didn't really want to add any titles but I guess this could replace Black Summer in my monthly purchases...

Looks like it will be good. I don't think I've read anything by Christos Gage before, but the art team is certainly up there.
The concerns of the story seem to be in many creators' minds at the moment.
If you are testing the indie waters are you reading Gravel? Also from Avatar, by Warren Ellis?
Also I can highly recommend Young Liars by David Lapham - just read issue 6 and it keeps getting better and better.

Sounds familiar
And John Dusk, i am sure that i have heard that name before.
Never the less its a good find by any stretch of the imagination

Whatever Comics Says
High octane, rock n roll entertainment in this roller coaster ride thats like a bullet in the head. Great stuff. a good first issue which if it keeps up the pace, could develop into a corker.
and keep up the pace it did, quickening the pace in fact. this comic is like listening to Sister Ray, cranked up to 50'000 watts of power, while wearing earphones on an insane mix of amphetamines, and alcohol.
