My current predictions/opinions.....
No Country for Old Men should win Director and Best films, the unfair thing about that statement is that I haven't seen three of the others due to either them not being released (There Will Be Blood, Juno) or just missing them (Clayton).
Best actor for me is possibly Viggo Mortensen for Eastern Promises, but again I haven't seen some of the other entries which makes it difficult to judge.
Javier Bardem for No Country For Old Men with Best Supporting Actor because he was just great.
Best actress is a limited choice again so I'll go with Cate Blancett.
Difficult for best adapted screenplay as I haven't read of the original novels.
Original screenplay I'll go with Ratatouille but again limited viewing choice.
Best Animated for Ratatouille by a long long stretch.
I'm going with Into the Wild for Best film editing mainly due to the fact it deserves to win atleast one award, it was a fantastic film and seems to have gone under the radar a bit. Plus it didn't annoy me like the editing in Bourne.
Transfomers has got three nominations and it above all the others should win the SFX award, if it doesn't the Oscars need burning.

Need to see american gangster and sweeny todd though
Web of Fear
I've hardly seen any of those films. Interesting that Cate Blanchett is up for two gongs.
