Stop reading, turn on ITV2 now!
Its bloody hilarious.

Take a London with superheroes, take them off duty, and stick them in a Capes only pub, and take away kid jokes, and you're near to No Heroics.
4 mates, essentially, the outcasts of the heroes, hanging out.
The Hottness, a small timer who punches above his weight, Electroclash, his ex who controls machines, and uses it for nothing more than nicking fags. Timebomb, who can see up to 60 seconds into the future, and is very, very fucked up. And Jenny, who is the 3rd strongest woman in the world, and just wants a boyfriend.
Excelsior, who is the best in London, and also a douche.

Thunder Monkey, the bouncer. With the power to summon Monkeys. 2 hours, tops.

Watch it, or if you see it on a repeat, watch it. Its great.

Plus, the Internet Jesus said "it’s funnier than a comedy show about superheroes has any right to be. It’s a miracle it got on the air at all. Full points to creator/writer Drew Pearce for coming up with something that should translate to a general audience because it’s black humour first and everything else second"

Now, remember.

No Costumes
No Powers
No Heroics

Yeah, i remember you saying in the shop about this, but help a geriatric  out, i got ITV2 (i remember back in the day when there was only two channels, one transmitted on 405 lines and one on 625 lines, this channel needed a special aerial and in some ways was the for comer of the satellite dish) but i digress.
So what time and day did you say? i know you have told me, but i need constant stimulation to remember anything these days.... ???? so what is it i want to know, hang on i will just read back, blahblahblahblah, Ah i remember

When I first heard about this I did think "well, that sounds a bit rubbish" - but I was very very wrong and it was brilliant.

I hope it gets a second series.

I still think its three pints of larger and a packet of KP's with powers.
although three pints and a pack of crisps does have some redeeming value Wink
